The infamous festive markets are back for their 11th year in Liverpool. Boasting a large section of food, clothing, Christmas decorations and numerous bars the markets run right through the centre of the city
Running from the bottom of Bold Street all the way up to Debenhams and down Paradise Street, there is a total of 39 markets which come from all corners of the world, including Liverpool. Local traders are selling items such as; capes, original Liverpool photos, sheepskin wool, handbags & pashminas, cupcakes, Spanish tapas, hog roast and fair trade incense.
Liverpool One recently had the light switch on for what is the biggest Christmas tree in the UK located outside John Lewis on Paradise Street. Standing at 30 metres tall, the tree is made up of 280 heart lights which glow numerous colours all day and night. Underneath the unusual Christmas tree is Bar Hütte, an alpine themed bar which consists of 10 Hüttes where you can get cozy and watch the shoppers walk by or take part in Carole-Oke located in a couple of the Hüttes.
After exploring the markets why not pop into Bar Signature to warm yourself up with a nice cocktail or beer whilst having a dance or relax in our snug booths where they’ll be live acoustic music on Sundays.
The markets are open from November 19th until the 22nd of December 2015 and will be open 7 days a week. Opening times are Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 11am-5pm.
